I'd have to say that really sums it up for me.
When I suggest making a change to a tree's environment, it's because
I believe it will give that tree a better future.
The future that I believe in needs more and healthier trees in it.

Root collar excavation is the first step, from there we look at the individual situation and create a plan for remediation of the problem.
Sometimes simply clearing the excess soil and mulch from the base of the tree is sufficient to resolve the problem.
